Teknic price list — latest edition, downloadable now
The current Teknic price list is hosted on this page as a PDF you can download without registering, and we swap it out each time Teknic Electric issues a fresh edition. It is the manufacturer’s own list-price document for controlgear and signalling devices, catalogue numbers exactly as printed. For your net rate against an actual bill of material, mail the requirement to support@skylightsenergy.in and Skylights Energy will quote it.
Teknic Electric India Pvt. Ltd. is an Indian controlgear manufacturer headquartered in Mumbai, with manufacturing and warehousing in Goa, working to ISO 9001:2015. In the trade its list is asked for as the “Teknic controlgear and signalling devices price list” — push buttons, pilot lights, rotary cam switches, control stations and panel-door hardware. It is not the American motion-control company of a similar name.
What’s inside the latest Teknic price list
Teknic’s list is organised by mounting diameter and construction, not by application. That trips up first-time buyers, because the same “start push button” exists in five series at five different rates. Find your diameter and body material first, then the actuator.

Panel-door fitment: get the cut-out right before you order
Almost every wrong-part return in this category comes down to the hole in the door.
22.5 mm is the volume standard. The 22.5 mm family — metal and plastic — drops into the standard Ø22.5 mm cut-out used across LT panels, MCCs and PCCs in India. If your door is already punched to 22.5 mm, do not order a 30.5 mm actuator, and do not assume an adaptor exists.
30.5 mm is a heavy-duty choice, not a bigger version of the same thing. The 30.5 ∅ Metal Series is specified where the actuator takes abuse — shop-floor consoles, crane pendants, gloved-hand operation. It needs its own cut-out and its own contact elements.
16.5 mm is indication only. The 16.5 mm pilot light suits dense indication panels and compact drive enclosures.
Monoblock versus assembled. A monoblock unit comes as one piece with its contact element or LED integrated: one catalogue number, one price line, less assembly labour, no field flexibility. The assembled series — actuator plus separately ordered contact blocks — costs more BOM lines but lets you stack contacts to suit the scheme. Clip-on variants (Metal Series 4, Plastic Series P4) are the middle path: tool-free contact fitting, which saves real time across fifty doors.
Contact elements, actuators and lamp voltages
Contact configuration drives the price line, not the head. Teknic supplies contact elements in 2NO, 2NC and 1NO+1NC arrangements. Order what the scheme needs — an emergency stop wants a positive-opening NC element, a start push button wants NO, a two-position selector feeding an interlock usually wants 1NO+1NC. Count contacts off the elementary diagram before you price the BOM.
Lamp voltage is part of the catalogue number. Pilot lights are voltage-specific, with variants spanning roughly 12 V to 240 V AC and 12 V to 220 V DC on the economy indication range. Illumination options include filament bulb, integral LED and LED bulb constructions. Integral LED units draw far less current — which matters for PLC output loading — and have no bulb to replace, but they are voltage-locked: a 24 V DC integral LED cannot be re-used on 230 V AC. Bulb-type variants let you change the lamp at site.
Protection class. The 22.5 mm metal and plastic ranges and the 30.5 mm range are rated IP65 to IEC 60947, with NEMA 4 to UL 508 on the 22.5 mm metal series. IP65 is a front-of-panel rating with the unit correctly mounted and gasketed — a burred or over-punched cut-out will not hold it.
Rotary cam switches and switching schemes
Teknic’s rotary cam switch range is built to IEC 60947-3, CE marked, finger-proof, and listed at 6, 10, 16, 25, 32, 40 and 63 A. The important commercial point is that a cam switch is an assembly, not a single part: the price depends on current rating, the number of contact decks, the switching scheme (the cam programme), the mounting style and the escutcheon plate marking.
The schemes ordered most often are the ammeter selector (R–Y–B with an off or shorting position), the voltmeter selector (phase-to-phase and phase-to-neutral positions), on–off and changeover switches, motor reversing, and star–delta. Non-standard programmes are buildable, but they are made to order — allow lead time, get the scheme diagram approved, and always send that drawing with the catalogue number.
How to read a Teknic price list
The printed figure is a list price. Your invoice value is the list price less the trade discount applicable to that product family, plus taxes. Discounting is not uniform across push buttons, cam switches, control stations and MCB/DB — treat each family separately, and take the applicable discount in writing rather than carrying last year’s terms forward.
GST is added on top. Price list figures are ex-GST. Tax is applied on the invoice at the rate notified for the relevant HSN — CGST plus SGST for supply within Karnataka, IGST outside it. Our tax invoices carry GSTIN 29ACGFS8716B1ZZ, so your input credit is clean.
Piece rate versus pack quantity. Contact blocks, lamps and small actuators are usually rated per piece but packed in standard boxes. If you order an odd quantity against a box-pack item, expect the quantity to be rounded. Confirm the pack multiple for high-count items before you finalise the BOM.
Catalogue numbers encode the build. The catalogue number carries series, diameter, head type, colour, contact configuration and voltage. When re-ordering from an old invoice or drawing, quote the number in full — “green push button” is not a purchasable instruction in a range with this much variation.
Why Teknic revises its price list
Prices move because inputs move: brass and zinc for metal bodies, engineering-grade polycarbonate and nylon, silver alloy for contact tips, LED chips, and imported sub-components exposed to rupee movement. Freight and packing feed in too. Revisions to IEC and the corresponding Indian Standards for low-voltage switchgear and control gear occasionally change construction or test requirements, which changes cost. And series get superseded — when a new construction replaces an older one the old catalogue numbers drop off the list entirely, which is why you price a tender from the current edition, never a saved PDF.
Buying Teknic in Bengaluru and Karnataka, dispatch pan-India
Skylights Energy has worked the Bengaluru electrical trade since 2013 from Bommanahalli, and VendorStocks is our components platform with around 3,000 SKUs. Our regular buyers are control panel shops, OEMs, machine builders, engineering firms, colleges and plant maintenance teams.
Mail support@skylightsenergy.in with your item list for a line-by-line quotation with GST and freight shown separately, verification that your catalogue numbers still exist in the current edition, and a dispatch commitment. Pair the order with Degson terminal blocks for the control wiring — we are the Bangalore distributor for Degson — and if you would rather buy a finished panel than a box of parts, Stellar Panels builds LT and HT panels and Switchonomy will estimate the BOM for you.
How often this page is updated
We check for a new Teknic edition on a routine cycle and replace the PDF whenever one is issued, a catalogue number is superseded or a series is withdrawn. The edition reference and effective date are printed on the document itself — read that line before you commit a tender price.
