Where to get the latest Hager price list for India
Hager India publishes a single consolidated price list titled Energy distribution, Controls & Wiring accessories, carrying a “with effect from” date on its cover and organised into four sections: Distribution Boards, Protection and Switching Devices, Energy and Lighting Control, and insysta wiring accessories. This page mirrors the current edition so you are not working from an old copy. Email your BOM to support@skylightsenergy.in for a net quotation.
Decoding a Hager catalogue reference before you order
Hager is the one brand in this segment where the catalogue reference tells you most of what you need, and learning the pattern saves you a lot of price-list scrolling.
MCBs. The India price list lists MCB types as NBN, NCN, NDN and HLF. The middle letter tracks the tripping characteristic — B, C and D respectively — with the digits that follow giving the rated current. So an NCN reference is a C-curve device and an NDN is a D-curve one. NBN, NCN and NDN cover roughly 0.5 A to 63 A; the HLF type covers the higher 80 A to 125 A band.
RCCBs and RCBOs. Hager distinguishes standard devices from type Hi high-immunity versions. RCBOs appear as two-pole, two-module devices, including type Hi variants. For an RCD the ordering fields that matter are rated current, residual sensitivity in mA, number of poles and whether you need the high-immunity type.
MCCBs. The India list is organised by frame: P160, P250 and P630, the X160 and X250 variants, and the H1000 frame covering 800–1000 A. Releases are offered as thermal-magnetic, LSI and LSIG. That last letter is the one to get right — LSI gives you long-time, short-time and instantaneous protection, while LSIG adds an earth-fault (ground) element. Ordering LSI when the specification called for LSIG means the panel will not pass a scrutiny check.
Practical rule: never truncate a Hager reference in a PO. The suffix carries pole count, module width and release type — two references differing by one character are different products.

| Protection — MCB | HLF | 80 A–125 A |
| Protection — RCD | RCCB, including type Hi high immunity | Standard residual sensitivities, 2-pole and 4-pole |
| Protection — RCBO | 2-pole, 2-module, including type Hi | Combined overcurrent and residual protection |
| Switching | Modular changeover switches, manual changeover switches, isolating switches | DIN-rail and panel duty |
| Protection — MCCB | P160, P250, P630; X160, X250; H1000 | Frame-wise ratings; H1000 covers 800–1000 A |
| MCCB releases | Thermal-magnetic, LSI, LSIG | Fixed and adjustable protection settings |
| Distribution boards | novello+ — SPN, TPN, horizontal PPI, tier PPI, vertical, phase segregated, phase selector, flexi, one-way | Domestic to light-commercial boards |
| Enclosures | golf (flush and surface mounting), vector (IP65) | Indoor and higher-ingress-protection duty |

MRP, net price and GST
What the PDF publishes. The Hager India price list is stated on a recommended-price basis in rupees — a different starting point from an OEM “list price” table, but the commercial consequence is the same: trade buyers pay a net price after the applicable dealer or distributor discount, which depends on range, order value and stock status.
Stockable versus indent references. Hager marks certain references as stockable with a symbol against the line; others are supplied against request through the sales office. That distinction matters more than the printed figure — a reference with a price but no stock route is a lead-time problem waiting to happen. Send us a BOM and we flag indent lines before you raise the PO.
GST. Hager switchgear, boards, enclosures and wiring accessories are invoiced at the GST rate applicable to their HSN classification. Our tax invoices always break out HSN code, taxable value and GST separately.
Module width, heat and enclosure selection
This is where Hager boards are most often specified wrongly in India, and none of it shows up on the price list.
Count modules, not ways. DIN-rail devices occupy module widths: a single-pole MCB is one module, a two-pole RCBO in the Hager range is two modules, and four-pole RCCBs and isolators take more. A “12-way” board full of two-module devices is not a 12-device board. Draw the DIN rail out on paper before you fix the board size, and leave spare modules — retro-fitting a surge device or a timer into a full board is how neat installations turn ugly.
Derate for real ambient temperature. MCB thermal elements are calibrated at a reference ambient. A board mounted against a west-facing wall in Bengaluru, or a board sitting inside a closed panel alongside a busbar chamber, runs materially hotter than that, and devices then trip below their nameplate current. Two mitigations: pick the rating with headroom for the actual internal temperature, and leave ventilation or spacing between heat-producing devices instead of packing the rail solid.
Pick the enclosure by ingress, not by price. The novello+ family covers domestic and light-commercial distribution, including per-phase-isolation and phase-selector variants that are genuinely useful on three-phase single-phase-load premises. The golf family covers flush and surface mounting. The vector family is rated IP65, which is the one to specify for outdoor, wash-down, dusty or semi-covered positions — a standard indoor board in an open verandah or a factory yard will fail on moisture ingress long before it fails electrically.
Type Hi and nuisance tripping. If an RCD keeps tripping without a fault, the cause is usually accumulated standing leakage or transient surges from electronic loads rather than a faulty device. A high-immunity type Hi RCD is designed for exactly those conditions. Before swapping the device, though, measure the standing leakage — if it is already a large fraction of the trip threshold, the answer is to split the circuits, not to raise the sensitivity.
Why Hager revises its India price list
Hager’s Indian pricing moves with the same forces as the rest of the LV market, with a stronger import component than most Indian-made ranges: copper for conductors and coils, silver-alloy contacts, steel and engineering plastics for boards and moulded cases, electronics for MCCB releases and controls, currency and inbound freight on imported content, and re-testing costs when IS/IEC and BIS requirements are revised. Withdrawn references are deleted rather than repriced.
Hence the “with effect from” date and no validity period — and why a two-year-old copy is a commercial risk, not just an inconvenience.
Buying Hager in Bengaluru and across India
Skylights Energy has traded in the Indian electrical market since 2013, operating from Begur Cross Road, Bommanahalli, Bangalore 560068. VendorStocks, our B2B/B2C platform, lists around 3,000 SKUs across switchgear, protection, control, wiring accessories and panel components, dispatching across Karnataka and pan-India.
For contractors, panel builders, MEP consultants and purchase managers we quote against a full DB schedule or BOM rather than a single line, flag indent-only references before they become a site delay, check module counts against the board you picked, build LT and HT panels through Stellar Panels, and price panel BOMs in Switchonomy. Where monitoring is in the brief, Switchology adds RS485 Modbus metering on top.
Send your BOM, DB schedule or drawing to support@skylightsenergy.in for a net quotation, availability and dispatch timeline. GSTIN 29ACGFS8716B1ZZ.
