Where to get the latest Connectwell price list

The current Connectwell price list PDF is published on this page — open the dated file above and it downloads directly, no form and no login. We keep only the newest edition live, so what is here is the revision our own quotations run on. Need a superseded edition for a closed order? Write to support@skylightsenergy.in.

How the Connectwell list is organised

Connectwell Industries Pvt. Ltd. lists by connection technology first (screw clamp, spring clamp) and then by function (feed-through, earth, fuse, disconnect, multi-level) — not by application. Two families do most of the work on a control panel: the CTS series, the screw clamp workhorse from signal terminals up to heavy power terminals, and the CX series, the spring clamp / push-in family where the conductor is pushed in and held by a spring, with no torque step.

Ratings are published to IEC (roughly 500–1000 V), UL/CSA (roughly 300–600 V) and, for increased-safety duty, IEC 60079-7 (roughly 550–690 V). Current capability runs from the low twenties of amperes on signal terminals to well over two hundred on the largest power terminals — read it off the code, never off the series.

How to read a Connectwell price list without getting your costing wrong

List price is not your price. The figure against a code is the published list price; what you pay is the net after the trade discount applicable to that product group. Slabs differ — accessories, rail and tools are usually treated separately from the terminals — and last year’s slab may not apply to this year’s list.

Piece rate versus box quantity is the biggest costing error here. Terminals and almost all accessories are rated per piece but supplied in standard pack quantities; markers come on cards, rail in fixed lengths. A BOM of 37 terminals is invoiced as the next full pack. Build that rounding into the estimate, not the margin — our panel estimation software does it automatically.

GST sits on top. List prices are ex-GST; GST is added on the invoice at the rate notified for the HSN code. Confirm the HSN on the quotation, because accessories and tools do not always share the terminal block classification.

Order codes carry the specification. A code reads as series prefix, then cross-section, then variant suffix — CTS4UN is the CTS screw clamp family at the 4 sq mm class, CTSG4 the earth version of the same size. Colour and approval variants are a suffix, not a separate line. Quote the full code: dropping a suffix is how a grey terminal arrives blue.

Selecting the right terminal — what the price list assumes you know

Start with the conductor, not the current. Connectwell publishes a clamping range in sq mm for every terminal and your conductor must sit inside it. A ferruled stranded conductor occupies more room than the bare copper size suggests, so a terminal rated 0.5–4.0 sq mm will not reliably hold a 6 sq mm ferruled conductor even when the ampacity looks comfortable.

Then check rated current and voltage against the circuit, not the panel. A 415 V panel still carries 24 V DC control wiring on the same rail; a smaller terminal is fine there, but segregate the voltage groups with partition plates and mark them, so nobody assumes the whole rail is at one potential.

Screw clamp or spring clamp is a labour decision. CTS gives a torque-verifiable joint, suits site-heavy work and re-termination, and is what most Indian panel shops and inspectors are comfortable with. CX removes the torque step, wires far faster on repetitive machine panels and resists vibration loosening — usually the lower total cost on OEM builds and on panels that will never be re-terminated in the field.

Then add the accessories, because this is where BOMs leak. A rail is not just terminals: an end plate at each end of every group (series-specific — a CX end plate will not fit a CMC), partition plates where voltage groups meet, markers for every terminal, jumpers where poles are bridged, the right rail profile and length, end clamps so the group does not creep, test sockets for CT and metering circuits, and the correct screwdriver blade. On a 400-terminal panel these are a small share of material cost and a large share of what gets missed at kitting — which is what becomes a two-day delay.

If you are open on brand, Skylights Energy is the Bangalore distributor for Degson, whose screw and spring clamp families cover the same functions. For a cost-down or second-source exercise, ask us to quote both against the same BOM, code for code.

Why Connectwell revises its price list

Pricing moves for reasons visible in the product itself. Current-carrying parts are copper and brass, tracking international metal prices; housings are engineering plastics such as polyamide, following petrochemical feedstock costs; screws, yokes and springs are steel. Tooling and certain raw grades are imported, so rupee movement against the dollar and euro feeds through, as do freight and the cost of holding a wide, slow-moving accessory range in stock. Revisions to IS and IEC standards can change a construction or test requirement, and series get rationalised — codes are phased out and an alternate printed against them. That is the real risk of an outdated PDF: not stale numbers, but a code that no longer exists.

Buying Connectwell in Bengaluru and Karnataka, with pan-India dispatch

Skylights Energy has been in the Bengaluru electrical trade since 2013 and supplies terminal blocks, connectors and panel components through VendorStocks, our B2B and B2C platform carrying around 3,000 SKUs. Send a BOM in any form — spreadsheet, marked-up drawing, photo of a terminal schedule — and we return a coded, pack-rounded quotation rather than a price list you have to reconcile.

We are at No. 15, 1st Cross, 3rd Main, Begur Cross Road, Bommanahalli, Bangalore 560068 — within reach of the Bommanahalli, Hosur Road, Peenya and Bommasandra panel-building belt for same-day or next-day collection, with pan-India surface and air dispatch outside Karnataka. We supply panel wiring shops, OEMs, MEP consultants and purchase teams at manufacturing plants, colleges and engineering firms. Our panel arm, Stellar Panels, builds LT and HT panels, so the counter you buy from knows what a terminal schedule has to survive. We supply Connectwell products; we hold the Bangalore distributorship for Degson and make no authorised-dealer claim for Connectwell.

How often this page is updated

We check this list against the manufacturer’s published edition periodically and replace the PDF whenever a revision is released, carrying the effective date in the file name and heading.
