Prok DVS price list — current edition, straight download

The latest Prok DVS price list is on this page as a direct PDF download, replaced each time a new edition is released. It is the manufacturer’s own list-price document — relays, meters and control products, type references as printed. Mail your requirement to support@skylightsenergy.in and Skylights Energy will come back with the net rate and availability.

In the trade this document is asked for by the name printed on it: the Prok Devices ACCL & relays price list. “Prok DVS” is the brand of Prok Devices Private Limited, an ISO 9001:2015 manufacturer of protection relays, panel meters and control products at the KSSIDC Industrial Estate, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru. That matters commercially: for Bengaluru and Karnataka buyers this is a locally manufactured brand — short lead times, spares that stay available, and application support in the same city.

What’s in the latest Prok DVS price list

Prok’s catalogue splits into three blocks — relays, meters and control — and the relay block is the widest by far.

BlockProduct familyTypical panel duty and ratings/sizes listed
RelayEarth leakage relay with CBCTSelectable sensitivity and time delay; matched core balance CT sized to the cable bunch
RelayEarth fault relayResidual or dedicated CT input, LT and HT feeders
RelayMotor protection relayCT input; overload, unbalance, single phasing and earth fault duty on MCC starters

RelayPhase failure relayPhase loss, reversal and unbalance
RelayFrequency relayUnder- and over-frequency, typical on DG and captive generation sets
RelayReverse power relayDG sets and parallel operation
RelayNeutral displacement relayEarth fault detection on resistance-earthed or unearthed systems
RelayDifferential relayDifferential protection duty
RelayAuxiliary relayContact multiplication and interposing duty
RelayMaster trip relayTrip lockout, hand or self reset, flag indication

Newer additions include the ATS, the DC power pack and revised master trip and auxiliary relays — so an older price list in your files will be missing lines.

Specifying Prok DVS relays and CBCTs correctly

This is a range where a wrong selection does not merely cost money — it leaves a feeder unprotected.

Earth leakage relay versus earth fault relay. Not the same product, not interchangeable. An ELR works on residual current sensed by a core balance CT through which all phase conductors (and the neutral, where present) pass together; with no leakage the vector sum is zero and the CBCT sees nothing. It is the high-sensitivity device for leakage and insulation protection. An EFR works off a CT measuring actual earth fault current and is set far higher, to coordinate with upstream protection. Many enquiries we receive ask for one and describe the other.

CBCT sizing is a mechanical decision. The core balance CT is selected by window diameter — it must pass the complete cable bunch with routing room, and every live conductor of that circuit must go through the same window. Miss the neutral on a four-wire circuit and the relay trips on ordinary load imbalance; pass the earth conductor through and it will not see the fault. For a retrofit on a running feeder you may need a split-core CBCT, since a solid-core unit means breaking the cable. Send us the cable size and number of runs and we will pick the CT with the relay.

Auxiliary supply and contact rating. These relays need a stated control supply — AC, DC or wide-range universal — matching what the panel actually has at the relay terminals, not the incoming supply. Check the output contact too: relays give potential-free changeover contacts meant to drive a trip coil or contactor, so a larger load needs an interposing contactor or auxiliary relay. That is what the auxiliary and master trip relays in the list are for — a master trip relay adds the lockout and the flag that tells the shift electrician what tripped.

Motor protection needs the CT ratio declared. These relays are set in terms of CT primary current, so order against the actual CT ratio and motor full-load current, and confirm the starting duty — a DOL starter on a high-inertia load and a star-delta starter on the same motor need different time settings.

Neutral displacement and reverse power are system-specific. Neutral displacement relays suit resistance-earthed or unearthed systems, normally fed from an open-delta PT; they are pointless on a solidly earthed LT system. Reverse power relays are for DG sets running in parallel with the grid or other sets — give us the DG rating and synchronising scheme when you enquire.

Changeover, current limiting and DC supply

The ACCL — auto source changeover cum current limiter — is one of the more India-specific products in the list, and it exists because so many supplies here are sanctioned in kVA rather than simply fused. It switches the load between mains and DG automatically and limits load current so the sanctioned demand or generator rating is not exceeded, shedding instead of tripping the whole installation. Select on the current you must limit at, not the incomer rating. For plain source transfer without limiting, the ATS is the correct line item.

Battery chargers, SMPS units and DC power packs feed relay logic, trip circuits and indication. Size them on the actual DC burden plus trip coil inrush, and settle whether the scheme needs ride-through during a mains dip before the panel GA is frozen — that decision changes the product.

How to read the Prok DVS price list

It is a list price sheet. The printed figure is the list price against each type reference. Your invoice value is that figure after the trade discount applicable to the product block, plus taxes. Relays, meters and control products are not necessarily discounted alike — take the applicable structure in writing rather than reusing a percentage from an old order.

GST goes on top. Prices are ex-GST; tax is added on the invoice at the rate notified for the relevant HSN — CGST plus SGST within Karnataka, IGST for other states. Our invoices carry GSTIN 29ACGFS8716B1ZZ, so your input credit is clean.

Relay and CBCT are usually two lines. An ELR and its core balance CT are priced separately in most editions. Quote only the relay and your tender is short by the CT — a common, expensive omission.

Piece rate versus pack. Relays and meters are individually priced, but small accessories and mounting hardware may carry pack multiples. Confirm before freezing quantities.

Quote the type reference in full. It carries the variant, sensitivity range, auxiliary supply and mounting. “Earth leakage relay” is not an orderable instruction when the family spans several sensitivity ranges and supply options.

Why the price list gets revised

Costs here are driven by electronic components — microcontrollers, displays, precision analogue parts — much of it imported and exposed to rupee movement, plus CRGO and copper for CT cores, enclosure plastics, sheet metal and inbound freight. Revisions to IEC and Indian Standards for measuring relays and protection equipment can change test or construction requirements. And products get superseded: when a newer generation replaces an older relay the earlier type references come off the list entirely, so a saved PDF is a poor basis for a tender price.

Buying Prok DVS in Bengaluru and Karnataka, dispatch pan-India

Prok Devices manufactures in Bengaluru and Skylights Energy has traded in this city since 2013, from Bommanahalli — a short supply chain. VendorStocks, our components platform with around 3,000 SKUs, turns around relay and CBCT sets quickly for local panel shops, and ships anywhere in India.

Send your requirement to support@skylightsenergy.in — ideally with feeder rating, cable size, CT ratio and control supply voltage — for a line-by-line quotation with GST and freight shown separately, plus a check that your type references are still current. Pair the order with Degson terminal blocks for relay and CT wiring — we are the Bangalore distributor for Degson. For a finished board, Stellar Panels builds LT and MCC panels and Switchonomy estimates the BOM.

How often this page is updated

We check for a new Prok DVS edition on a routine cycle and replace the PDF whenever one is issued, a type reference is superseded or a product is withdrawn. The edition reference and effective date are printed on the document — read that line before pricing a tender from it.
