Quick answer

Schneider Electric India publishes its price list division by division, each with its own “with effect from” date — there is no single Schneider price list PDF. The editions we hold are linked at the top of this page and replaced whenever Schneider notifies a revision. If you already have commercial references, send them to support@skylightsenergy.in and you will get a quotation against the current edition instead of hunting through PDFs.

Schneider splits its India price list by division

Identify your division first; this alone prevents most quoting errors:

DivisionWhat it covers
Final Distribution, Wiring Devices & Lighting Control ProductsMCBs, RCCBs, RCBOs, distribution boards, modular switches and sockets, lighting control
Low Voltage Distribution ProductsMCCBs, air circuit breakers, switch-disconnectors, changeover
Switching & Controlling ProductsContactors, overload relays, motor protection, pilot devices
Industrial Automation ProductsControl and automation hardware
LV-Power Quality Products & EquipmentCapacitors, APFC and power-quality equipment
Power Monitoring Solutions — Metering ProductsEnergy meters and power monitoring devices
Panel BuilderComponents and assemblies aimed at panel manufacturers

Each division document carries its own effective date. A quote built from the Final Distribution list and a quote built from the Panel Builder list are not comparable line for line, so ask which document a rate came from before you argue about it.

The L&T / Lauritz Knudsen question

Worth clearing up, because it confuses purchase teams every week. Schneider Electric acquired L&T’s Electrical & Automation business in 2020, and in 2024 that business was rebranded Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & Automation — a Danish name with a long history, now used for the former L&T Switchgear portfolio in India. Lauritz Knudsen products have their own catalogue numbers and their own price lists. They are not the Schneider-branded ranges covered on this page. If your specification says “L&T MCB”, the current equivalent is a Lauritz Knudsen reference, not an Acti9 one.

Choosing the right tier, not just the right rating

Schneider’s India portfolio is deliberately tiered, and picking the wrong tier is the most expensive mistake on a Schneider BOM.

Easy9 versus Acti9. Both are DIN-rail final-distribution families, but they sit at different breaking-capacity and feature levels. Easy9 is built for residential and light commercial circuits where the prospective fault current is modest and the accessory ecosystem barely matters. Acti9 offers higher breaking-capacity classes, a much wider accessory and auxiliary range (shunt trips, auxiliary contacts, combination devices), and the coordination data a designer needs for anything industrial. Use Easy9 for a flat; do not use it for a machine shop’s sub-distribution board and then wonder why the inspector objects.

EasyPact EZC versus ComPacT NSX. Same logic one level up. EasyPact EZC is the value MCCB for straightforward feeder duty with thermal-magnetic trip. ComPacT NSX gives you Micrologic electronic trip units — with adjustable long-time (Ir), short-time (Isd) and instantaneous (Ii) settings, plus metering and communication variants. If your single-line diagram demands discrimination between an incomer and a downstream feeder, the adjustable-setting device is not a luxury; current-only discrimination collapses close to the fault, and you need time bands or zone-selective interlocking to hold it.

EasyPact MVS versus MasterPact MTZ repeats the pattern at incomer level: a value ACB for basic protection, versus a platform with richer trip units, metering and communication for switchboards that have to talk to an EMS.

Two habits that protect the design: read Icu and Ics separately (ultimate versus service breaking capacity — specify on Ics for anything feeding a critical load), and derate for the panel’s internal air temperature, not the outside ambient. In a Bengaluru summer a densely packed enclosure runs far hotter than the room; temperature-rise verification under IEC 61439, along with correct IP and IK selection and the agreed form of separation, is what makes an assembly defensible.

Decoding a Schneider commercial reference

Schneider identifies items by a commercial reference, not a description — for example the A9 prefix family for Acti9 final-distribution devices, and LV-prefixed references for low-voltage distribution products. Within a reference, characters encode the range, device type, pole count, rated current, breaking-capacity class or curve, and trip-unit or accessory variant. The practical rule is simple: put the full commercial reference on the BOM. “Acti9 32 A 2P C-curve” exists in more than one breaking-capacity class, and those are different items at different positions in the list. Descriptions get you the wrong material; references get you the right one.

Why the list gets revised

Nothing mysterious. Copper for busbars and coils, silver for contacts, cold-rolled steel and engineering plastics for enclosures all track commodity markets. Imported frames, trip units and electronics carry rupee-versus-euro and rupee-versus-dollar exposure. Freight and packing costs move. BIS and IS/IEC standard revisions force design changes and fresh certification. And range transitions matter: when a legacy series is superseded, the successor occupies its own list position, so an apparent increase is often simply a different device. This is why the effective date on the cover of each division document is the first thing to check.

Buying in Bengaluru and Karnataka, dispatched pan-India

Skylights Energy has worked in the Bengaluru electrical trade since 2013, from Bommanahalli, Bangalore 560068. We supply Schneider LT switchgear and wiring devices as a stockist and supplier — not as an authorised Schneider dealer — and we quote strictly against the current published division price lists, so what you compare is genuinely comparable. VendorStocks, our B2B and B2C platform, holds roughly 3,000 SKUs across final distribution, control gear and accessories, with pan-India dispatch.

Because Stellar Panels, our own manufacturing arm, builds LT and HT panels, questions about breaking capacity, DB schedules, busbar sizing and forms of separation are answered by people who assemble the boards. If you estimate panels for a living, Switchonomy at panelestimation.com turns a BOM into a priced quotation.

Mail your BOM, DB schedule or reference list with GSTIN and delivery pin code to support@skylightsenergy.in for rates, stock position and lead time.

How often this page is updated

We check Schneider’s published division price lists monthly, and within a few working days of any notified revision. Each PDF here shows its division name and effective date; when a new edition is issued, the file is replaced and the previous one archived. If you need a superseded edition to reconcile an old order, ask us for it.
